Toretto's IMS treats the inventory ledger as the source of truth. Every receipt, pick, transfer, count, or adjustment is an append-only transaction. On-hand is a projection — meaning you can reconstruct any past state, audit any number, and explain any discrepancy down to the row.

Three primitives, every feature
SKU master
UPC, dimensions, weight, hazmat flags, ABC velocity class, lot-controlled / serial-controlled toggles, customer-owned vs you-owned ownership.
Multi-facility, multi-zone, multi-bin
Facility → zone → aisle → bin hierarchy. Per-bin capacity, restrictions (hazmat, temperature, narrow-aisle), and slotting profile.
Append-only ledger
Every quantity change is a typed transaction (receipt, putaway, pick, ship, transfer, count, adjustment) with item + location + signed qty. The ledger is trigger-protected against UPDATE and DELETE.

Manual adjustments require a reason code + approval; cycle-count-driven adjustments auto-write with the count reference.

Min / max per location with lead-time-aware reorder suggestions. Pick + putaway replenishment between bulk and forward zones.
